CS_Downtown is a hostage rescue map set in an urban environment. The map features many long sight lines including across elevations. Attackers have few paths which offer different challenges. Success in one path can create an advantage in others so attackers are encouraged to spread their forces around. Defenders have short rotations to respond to the many threats and control of the interior is key.
